- Call data: Phone numbers, call recordings, transcripts, and metadata from calls handled by your Talos AI agent.

- Calendar and scheduling data: Events, availability, and booking details when you connect a Google or Outlook calendar.
- Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and interaction logs within the Talos dashboard.
- Payment information: Billing details processed through our third-party payment provider. Talos does not store raw card numbers.

- To provide, operate, and improve the Talos platform.
- To route and transcribe calls through your AI agent.

4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:
- Infrastructure providers: Trusted third-party services that help us deliver the platform, each bound by data processing agreements.
- Calendar providers: Google or Microsoft when you connect your calendar.
- Your team: Employees and roster members you add to your Talos account see the data relevant to their role.
- Legal requirements: When required by law, court order, or to protect rights and safety.
5. Call Recordings and Transcripts
All calls handled by your Talos AI agent may be recorded and transcribed. Recordings and transcripts are delivered directly to the account holder (the business using Talos) and are private to that user only — they are not shared with any other party, accessed by Talos staff for any purpose other than platform support, or used to train AI models. By using the Talos platform, you agree to inform callers that calls may be recorded, as required by applicable law.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Call logs and transcripts are retained for a rolling period defined in your plan. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. Upon account termination, your data is deleted within 30 days unless a longer retention period is required by law.
7. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encryption at rest and in transit, role-based access controls, and regular security reviews. OAuth tokens are stored encrypted. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Receive your data in a portable format.

By accessing or using the Talos AI platform ("Talos", "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including business account holders and their team members.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract to use Talos. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.
3. Account Responsibilities
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

- You may not share your account with others or create accounts for unauthorized third parties.
4. Permitted Use
You may use Talos solely for lawful business purposes in accordance with these Terms. You agree to use the Service only to manage your own business operations — including call answering, scheduling, and dispatch — and not on behalf of any third party without explicit authorization from Talos.

- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.

- Record or intercept communications in violation of applicable wiretapping or privacy laws.
- Resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercialize access to the Service without written consent from Talos.
6. Call Recording Compliance
Talos provides AI-powered call recording and transcription. You are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws governing call recording in your jurisdiction, including obtaining any required consent from callers before calls are recorded. Talos does not assume liability for your failure to comply with call recording laws.
7. Intellectual Property
All software, design, trademarks, and content comprising the Talos platform are owned by Talos AI or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the Service. You retain ownership of any data you submit to the platform.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Talos does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. AI-generated responses may occasionally be inaccurate — you are responsible for verifying critical information before acting on it.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Talos AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service — even if Talos has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to Talos in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. You may cancel your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately, and your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
